Planned Saturday water releases from Tillery Dam of 800-1,000 cubic ft. per /second, making for excellent fishing, great paddling and wonderful floating opportunities on the Pee Dee River for novice and intermediate paddlers. (This is not whitewater rafting, just an enhanced flow!) Set-in at Clark's Creek Public Access below the dam and paddle 8 river miles to the Griffin Road Public Access area or 12 miles to Red Hill/Hwy. 109 Public Access area. Bring your equipment or rent from local outfitters and arrange for them to pick you up after the trip! Fish, swim or picnic along the trip. Enjoy the scenic beauty and wildlife along the Pee Dee. Releases will be from 6 - 10:30 am, making best floating times 8:30 - 10:30 am. Time your trip to go with the flow! Please check the website for any updates beforehand.
