Bojangles' Coliseum, formerly known as Cricket Arena, is a Charlotte landmark. It was the city's first arena, originally named the "Charlotte Coliseum" when it was built over 50 years ago. The Coliseum is oval with a full seating capacity of 10,500. Seating can be reduced to approximately 5,000 seats via a draping system. Throughout its storied history, the coliseum has hosted an array of events from popular concerts and children's shows to rodeos and the circus to ice hockey and notable basketball tournaments.
