Soccer continues its winning streak in North Carolina. Sports rights holders are taking advantage of the geographically diverse soccer fields from the Mountains to the Coast. This past year North Carolina hosted events like the nation’s largest adult soccer event in the Beer City Cup in Asheville, celebrated the exciting announcement of a Major League Soccer expansion to Charlotte, cheered on another successful ACC Women’s and Men’s Soccer Championships in Cary, and watched the next generation of soccer players hone their skills at the Beach Soccer Classic.
